My Emphasis
Nobody has any other life apart from the life we have in the Father. The Father is the Owner of life and death. If we have Him, we have life. Nothing of this world can take us away from Him. But if we lose Him and gain the world, who shall we go to if the world fails us? Every creature has his life in the Father, both men and animals. He is the Creator of us all.
No one has the power to care for himself if the Father doesn't give him the power and will to live. The world is big, and evil surrounds us everywhere. Yet, if we hold on to Him, who owns everything, we'll count whatever we see for joy. In the Book of James 1:2-4, the Bible says, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." The power of life and death is in the hands of the Almighty. He gives life to those who have wisdom, wisdom to live in His will and ways.
The world we live in is full of so many challenges. The powers of evil have dominated everywhere. Those who serve the Father face many challenges and discouragement everyday. But if the Earth swallows us, will it swallow us forever? He who owns life will not allow His inheritance to be wasted. Jesus Christ says in the Book of Matthew 10:28-31, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."
My dear friends, no matter what happens in the world, Jesus Christ is more than able to see us through. Do not be dejected; do not be discouraged. Hold on to the power of Him who purchased you from death. Nothing can abort your life prematurely if you hold on to Jesus Christ. He is the life in us. If we have Him, we have everything. No matter what comes our way, just have the assurance that He will neither leave us nor forsake us. Look ahead and keep focus. He who owns life will surely carry you to the end. I pray for you today that Jesus Christ will hold you by His right hand and never allow you to waste away in Jesus' name. Amen! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
