My Emphasis
Many may wonder why it's difficult to eradicate poverty. Looking at the whole world, more than three-quarters of the world's population lives in poverty. Right from the beginning, Satan has always dealt with each nation based on the kind of sin they committed. Without sin, he has no right to touch anybody. But the power and level of sin are greater than each other. If you keep a treasure somewhere, you'll try to make it secure. How do you do that? You could either mount a security camera around it or manpower by putting security men around so that nobody will have access to your treasure. Satan does this to make it difficult to get help out of hardship and poverty. One may get help, but if the kind of help you get is being taken away from you spiritually, it's like pouring water into an empty basket.
Many of us wonder why poverty increases daily despite how far we've come with knowledge. Yet, knowledge without wisdom is futile. A race that man races without wisdom will end in futility. Man doesn't know the end of a thing, but Satan, if he sows an evil seed, knows how the outcome will be. This he does right from the Garden of Eden. If not for the grace and love of the Father, nobody deserves to live a good life because of sin. If you call yourself a child of God, if you commit sin, every effort in serving the Father yields nothing because nobody can serve two masters. Anyone that serves the Father willingly and wholeheartedly lacks nothing good. The Bible says in the Book of Psalms 34:8-10, "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing."
The children of Israel enjoyed what they didn't labour for. They lived in houses they didn't build. They inherited the properties of their enemies. When they got carried away and began to commit sin, they were sold as slaves once again. No matter how the Father blesses a man, sin can destroy this blessing in the twinkling of an eye. One may think that nothing can destroy the riches or wealth of a man if it gets to a certain level. Yet, wealth and riches without wisdom could disappear quickly. Any Christian home that is rooted in idolatry and witchcraft will suffer so much because no matter how much you serve the Father, every service and effort will be in vain. Why? Because you allow evil to mingle with your blessing. But if you love the Father and value your life, not only in this present world, but if you depart and disassociate yourself from evil, you and your generation will live and enjoy peace. I pray for you today that Jesus Christ will carry you through in Jesus' name. Amen! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
