My Emphasis
When Jesus Christ was about to depart this Earth, He admonished His Disciples and commanded them not to return. He set the Great Commission before them and assured them. The Bible says in the Book of Mark 15:16-18 that, “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.””
In My name!
Jesus said in the Book of John 14:13-14 that, “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 15:16 says, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” John 16:23-24 says, “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” And the Bible says again in the Book of I John 3:21-22 that, “Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.”
The name of the Father is Holy. The name of Jesus Christ is Holy. Whatever we do with these names must be holy because They are pure. There is no trace of sin found in Them. Anyone who uses the name of the Father and His Son for evil, evil will never depart from his generation. The Father allowed some of His children to capture His children as slaves because of their sins. Some of these slave masters maltreated many of the slaves. They even killed some. But the Father allowed it so that they could teach His children His way and depart from the way of idolatry. You must understand that in everything the Father asks His servant to do or perform, Satan always wants to turn it into evil. And if the servant of the Father doesn’t apply wisdom, Satan will work through him and destroy everything. This was how he used some of the servants of the Father to destroy His Ordinance.
Beloved, whatever you do, do it in humility and purity of heart, all to the glory of the Father. The Father has given us grace, grace through His only begotten Son. This grace should be used to glorify His name, not to drag His name in the mud. Know for sure that whatever you sow, you shall surely reap. I pray you’ll not sow evil and reap destruction in Jesus' name. Amen! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
