My Emphasis
If you look into the church today, you’ll see that Christians have gone far away from their roots. Everything is about money! In various ways, Christians engage in money laundering, fraud, and money rituals. As there is One God, so is one Satan named Lucifer. He knows every nation and tribe and their ways of life. He builds his strategy on their way of life and culture. He deals with each country and tribe differently. Some people engaged in a physical ritual before the money could come, while some were involved in a spiritual ritual. With a physical ritual, you must provide something physically to a third party who will carry out the ritual to enhance your wealth. With spiritual ritual, you provide nothing spiritually because he’ll take whatever he wants to take from you at will, and everything remains between you and him. This one remains hidden from everybody for life. Unless the Holy Spirit reveals it, nobody will ever know.
For example, as a servant of God, the motive behind whatever you do matters a lot. If you want to celebrate the day of your birth, must you gather people together? What happens to your wife and children? Aren’t they enough to celebrate with you? Satan uses what we love against us. Whatever Jesus Christ didn’t do, if you dare do it, you call your adversary into action. By celebrating birthdays alone, Satan has given many servants of God an ordinary birthday card in exchange for their anointing. Yes, somebody gave you a birthday card. It may be your fellow Pastor. Yet, somebody laid in wait for your soul who lived inside your fellow Pastor. Remember that he works with the heart. The Pastor in question may think it’s just a thought of the heart. After you might have received the card on your birthday, the money will start coming to you from nowhere, and you’ll think it’s a blessing from the Father. Little did you know that you’ve exchanged your spiritual vision for physical wealth that leads to spiritual blindness. You’ll remain chaff, blind and unfit for purpose.
As a servant of God, even as an ordinary Christian, if somebody offers you money, you must know why he’s offering you money and the source of it. You shouldn’t take anything for granted at all. Satan has polluted the church so much that you don’t know who is who. In the time of old, the servants of the Father were prudent of all these things. Today, because the cost of living is very high and Christians, primarily servants of God, want to live a very high standard of life. Therefore, they fall into a deep hole from which they can never escape.
Apostle Paul warned the young Timothy who grew under him about these things. The Bible says in the Book of I Timothy 6:9-10 that, “But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” In verse 11, he concluded by giving him a piece of advice on how to avert such a spiritual tragedy. “But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.” Above all these, contentment!
Beloved, let the fear of the Father be in your heart every time because your adversary knows the secret of human beings, and he’s working tirelessly on bringing them down, especially Christians. If you’re aware of this, always look very well before you leap. I pray for you today that the things of this Earth will not take you away from the path of righteousness in Jesus' name. Amen! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
