My Emphasis
Our Lord and Saviour came and experienced everything. He passed through the experience of Hellfire right on this Earth. This was why there was no place for Him when He died and went to Hellfire. Hellfire rejected Him! After this, He went to the Dark-Planet and introduced Himself. He passed through everything. No matter what you’re passing through, He knows the in and out of it.
Every day by day, darkness is taking over and chasing light away because the children of men have embraced darkness wholeheartedly. The few who love light are struggling to cope with what they see. Discouragement fills the heart of many. Those who put their trust in Jehovah God are reconsidering their position. Arise O Lord my God, plead the case of the righteous!
The Master was admonishing His Disciples just as He admonished us today. He foresaw everything they would pass through because of the decision they made to follow Him. He felt the pain they would go through even before it happened. He Himself was just on His way to facing the toughest moment of His existence. But He passed through it, and He overcame it. O that I may have the boldness and courage of the Master, to be able to stand firm in my faith even to the point of death because he whose heart is focused on the abode of the Father will feel no earthly pains anymore.
When Stephen was at the point of death, with every stone he received, he felt no pain because his Spirit was already out of his body and he saw the glory of the Almighty. Death is a gain for the righteous because they know and understand that life in this earthly body carries lots of pains, hardship and sorrow, but their focus will always be on the Father so that no matter what they pass through here on Earth, even though their flesh fails, their Spirit, which is the life of the Father in them will remain intact. Job in his pains said in chapter 19:25-27, “I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end, He will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh, I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!” Let me conclude with the words of Asaph in Psalms 73:25-26 which says, “Whom have I in heaven but you? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth. Though my flesh and my heart may fail, but Jehovah God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Hallelujah! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
