I Chastise Those I Love

Word from the Father

If you’re driving on a spacious and lonely country road, you’ll position yourself in the middle of the road in case you lose focus suddenly. If you lose focus and begin to drive on the verge of the road, you’ll not realise it until you feel your tire is touching the kerbs. The moment you realise this, you’ll position yourself in the middle of the road again and proceed in your journey. I Am the Almighty God. I am the Great I Am That I Am. I Am a Loving Father. I chastise those I love.

If a son pleases his father continually, he’ll receive praise and encouragement every time. Whenever he goes wrong or doesn’t perform up to standard, his father will chastise him and encourage him. He will neither kill nor disown him. He will chastise him because he loves him. I Am the Almighty God and a Father of all fathers. I have a big heart. I love all My children. I chastise those I love, and My love will never depart from them. This is why I always speak so you can know your right from wrong. If I don’t speak, you’ll not know where you're going wrong. If the road builder fails to build kerbs at the verge of the road, what will prevent the drivers from entering the woods? If the driver hits the kerbs, he’ll realise he’s on the verge of the road. If you commit sin and there’s nothing or no one to bring your mistake to your attention, you’ll continue in your wrong.

If your child makes any mistake and you fail to correct him, that means you’re a bad father; you’re not a good father. He will grow up to think everything he does is right. He will bring you shame and disgrace. But if you love him, you’ll not leave him all alone to continually wallow in mistakes upon mistakes. You’ll try every effort to make sure he becomes somebody in life. When Samson's parents failed to look out for him, they left him to live his life as he wished until destruction took him away suddenly. I Am the Almighty God and the Great Seer. I foresee the life of all My children. Though I may not speak, I know what you’re passing through. I Am the Great Encourager and will always encourage you because I know every problem that plagues all of you on this Earth. This is why I never relent in speaking to you.

As a Father who knows the in and out of this Earth, though you have eyes but cannot see, I will not wait until you fall into a pit before I direct you to the right path. This is why My Spirit is in you. Mine is to speak, and if I speak and you fail to listen, you’ll definitely fall into the pit. And if you fall into the pit, if you manage to come out, you’ll learn your lesson. But blessed is the son who hearkens to the voice of his father. Peace and goodwill will always be with him wherever he goes.

My Emphasis

No matter how old a man may be, he’ll always be a child in the hands of his parents. No man is older than the Almighty throughout the entire universe. He is the Father of all fathers. He knows both our physical and spiritual life. He knows the age of the Spirit in us. Some of us may be fifty or a hundred years old physically, yet, the Spirit in us may be a billion years old. The Almighty God knows all this.

If you’re driving in the middle of the road, you’re happy and have sufficient space on both sides. If you’re carried away and lose focus, you’ll find yourself at the edge of the road which is close to danger. Sometimes in life, we feel we know what we’re doing, but our decision could land us in danger. Whenever we’re driving in the middle of the road, and we’re happy, the Father is happy as well. But if we lose focus and move towards the edge of the road, the Father has no option but to draw our attention. This is where dreams come in. Sometimes we may throw away our dreams, but the Father will find another way of getting our attention. This is why it is said that in every situation, we should always give Him thanks. Why? Because He is always right. He never does evil. Evil can only befall us if we fail to listen to instructions.

Sometimes, the Father can allow great evil to befall us simply because we forsake our territory. When He chastised the Jews for twenty-three years, and they failed to listen, He raised an enemy against them by Himself. The Bible says in the Book of Jeremiah 30:14, “All your lovers have forgotten you; they do not seek you; for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of your iniquities, because your sins have increased.” And Jeremiah 27:6-8 says, “And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant; and the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him. So all nations shall serve him and his son and his son’s son until the time of his land comes, and then many nations and great kings shall make him serve them. And it shall be, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation I will punish,’ says the Lord, ‘with the sword, the famine, and the pestilence until I have consumed them by his hand.”

When Jonah disobeyed the Father and ran to Tarshish via the ship, did the Father leave him alone? He chastised him until he found himself in the belly of the fish. He was there for three days. The Father can do anything just to get our attention. If Satan proves that he has power, he could only boast simply because the Father allows him. As true sons and daughters of the Most High, it’s good and profitable to listen and follow our Father’s instruction in good faith, less the adversary capitalises on our disobedience to act. The Bible says in the Book of Proverbs 11:3-12, “My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; for whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.” And Proverbs 10:1a says, “A wise son makes the father glad.” I pray for you today that the Holy Spirit will help you to walk with the Father in obedience in Jesus' name. Amen! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.

If a man breathes his last breath, his Spirit departs and continues his life elsewhere. Whatever life he lives here will determine his destination and how his next life will be.
