My Emphasis
Right from time, evil is always there. Despite how God moved in the church of old, yet, evil was there. If evil weren’t there, no one would have killed the Disciples of the Master. Both good and evil embark on their journey parallel to each other, and they must never meet. The Almighty God created them both. As a child of Jehovah God, nothing evil should be found in you. We have an adversary who hasn’t stopped chasing the children of the Father right from the beginning. He is always there roaming around like a hungry lion, luring the children of the Father into evil, instigating them against one another.
If a man picks a gun and shoots his fellow human being, he’s not the one. Something has entered him to do it. Why should something enter him to commit a crime? Because he gave himself to evil. Whatever you give yourself to will take over your heart. An idle heart is the workshop of Satan. The more a man gives himself to sin, the more he opens the door of his life for Satan to enter. If you lock your door, an armed robber could break in and enter. What happens to the door that is left open? You give an armed robber free access. A heart that lacks the Word of God is prone to evil. The Bible says in the Book of Psalm 119:11 and 105 that, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Any man that starves his soul of the Word of the Father is prone to evil.
Before a man carries out an act of evil, he might have planned it in his heart. The Bible says in the Book of Luke 6:45, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good, and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.” A man doesn’t just wake up and commit evil. He might have planned it in his heart. Satan didn’t just wake up one morning and hijack the heart of Eve in the Garden. He has planned it long before then. The same strategy he used in those days, the same strategy he uses today. After some people have committed a crime, they would say they’re not the one, that they didn’t know what came over them. It’s a demon! Any heart that lacks the fear and Word of the Father is an instrument for Satan to use. Those who desire to behold the face of Jehovah God would purge their heart and wash them clean with the blood of the Lamb. They will see evil and run away from it. I pray for you today that the Holy Spirit will hold your heart in His hand and plant His fear inside in Jesus' name. Amen! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
