Dwell Not On Your Past

Word from the Father

If you drink hot water and it burns your mouth, what will you use to cool it down? Is it not water? Will you say you don’t want to drink water anymore because it burnt your mouth? No, you’ll continue to drink water. If you’re into one marriage and it failed, will you say you don’t want to marry anymore because you went through a failed marriage? No, you’ll only be careful not to make the same mistake you made again. I Am the Almighty God. I Am God that gives second chance.

For many of you, Satan has gone ahead to rob you of your blessing because you lacked wisdom. This is what he wants! He wants you always to remember what you’ve lost. I Am not like that. I Am the Almighty God. I Am wiser than all of you. If I assigned four children to a woman, and I gave her only four eggs, if anything happens to her along the line, will she carry a baby in her womb again? No! But I gave her many eggs. I Am the Almighty God. Wisdom ends in Me.

Some of you went into the wrong relationship. You allow your failed relationship to shape the rest of your life. A young girl who went out with a man and met disappointment now turned herself into a lesbian. I Am the Almighty God. I know and see all things. If I called something an abomination, can it be a solution to your life? No, you only hang yourself with more ropes. If a man disappointed you, does that mean all men are the same? No! As it is for men, so it is for women.

This is why I always speak for you to know your right from your wrong. If I don’t speak, how will you know which way to follow? If you had put your trust in Me, you wouldn’t have failed in the first place. However, I Am the God that gives second chance. For you not to make another mistake, this is why you must know Me and seek My face so that I can lead you.

My Emphasis

The fact that your life is crumbled doesn’t mean that’s the end of it. You shouldn’t allow that to shape your future. If you dwell on the past, you cannot move forward to your future. How many mistakes have I made? How many times have I failed? But now I can encourage others. This is life! You cannot dwell on the past and move forward to the future.

A man woke up in the morning happily and set out on a journey. When he got back home in the evening, he lost one of his legs. But he’ll continue to live, isn’t it? This is how life is. Though what happened to us in the past might have taken something tangible away from us, yet, if we lean on the One who owns all things rather than leaning on our past, we’ll make something good out of our crumbled life.

The Father declared in the Book of Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” Absolutely nothing is hard for the Almighty to do. He is the Creator of every good and perfect gift. He is the Creator of good and evil. He is the Creator of light and darkness. Everything is at His disposal. If we’re with Him, he allows us to enjoy the goodness of life. If we turn away from Him, He chastises us with another side of life. The Bible says in the Book of I Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.”

Therefore, my beloved, allow not the past to shape your future. As long we have the Father and the Son, then we have hope even beyond the grave. Let us move forward by the grace given to us by the Father through His Son. In patience and endurance, we’ll eat our bread peacefully, the bread of peace that comes from the Father Himself. Through this, we’ll be able to look back and give thanks to the Father for how far He has brought us. Blessed be His Holy name. May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
