If you have two pieces of treasure and your wife also has two pieces, if you combine both together, it will become four. As it is for good, so it is for bad. Whatever Spirit lives in a man, the wife will share from it either good or bad. If the husband is evil, it takes My grace before the wife will not be like him. No matter how clean she is, as long they remain as husband and wife, she cannot wash herself clean from her husband’s evil. I Am the Almighty God. I Am the Great I Am That I Am. I Am the Creator of every creature. I Am a Holy Father. Sin is an abomination to Me.
I have various reasons why a man should marry a virgin, most especially My chosen. If a woman is married to a man, their Spirits are interwoven together. This is one of the major reasons I hate divorce. Spirits are separated at death. If a man divorced his wife, as long both of them are still alive, part of their Spirit remains in each other. And if a man is evil, even though he’s dead, My chosen son shouldn’t have married her at all unless I specifically give him the go-ahead. If I do that, that means I must have banished every spirit away from her body. All of you take spiritual things lightly, but they’re more than the way you see them.
Abigail was a beautiful and intelligent woman, but she wasn’t the kind of wife My son David should have married. If I created you very powerful, as powerful as you are, so is the wife you’ll marry. If your wife is spiritually weak, that means both of you are incompatible together. This goes to many of My servants! They married their own wife, from their own heart, but not from Me. I Am a Holy Father, and I cannot create you to work for Me and desert you. I will not abandon you no matter what happens. The work I send you to do is spiritual, not physical. And if you use your physical eyes to choose a wife, you’ll miss it completely. There will be a time when everything will go smoothly for both of you, but if the heat of the fire hits you, can she stand with you? This is the problem.
For some of you, the kind of wife you married took Heaven away from you the very moment you married her. Will you say you love your Father and send away your wife? You must choose one out of the two. It is better for you not to enter inside; once you’re in, you’re in, and it’s only by My grace you can come out of it. Abigail was part of the problem David had. The kind of spirit that lives in a woman matters a lot. If you’re a powerful man, you must understand that somebody is seeking for your downfall. Any little chance he has, he will not hesitate to use it against you. He knows the bond I put between husband and wife, and for him to be able to break that bond, he always plants a weak woman along your path.
Most Prophets of old weren’t married due to the kind of assignment the Father gave to them. As a servant of the Father, if He allows you to marry, then He has to choose for you. If not, Satan will always have his way. When Moses was on his way back to Egypt and Satan wanted to kill him because he wasn’t circumcised, the Father had to quickly pass through Zipporah his wife to heal him. If she wasn’t the kind of woman the Father could use, what could have happened to Moses? When the love of Ishmael blindfolded Abraham, and he couldn’t see what Satan was about to do in his household, the Father passed through Sarah his wife to speak to him. Though it wasn’t easy for him, but the Father confirmed it again with him that he should listen to what his wife told him and act accordingly. This is the journey of the chosen of Almighty God.
As husband and wife, no matter how Satan tries, the Spirit of the Father must always penetrate through the heart of one of you. If the body is weak for one reason or another, if the Spirit is revealing anything to you, you cannot hear. But if you and your wife are weak, the Spirit cannot reveal anything to any of you. But if you have children, the Spirit will pass through the children to speak to you. And if you’re that kind of parent who undermines the words of their children, Satan will have his way. It’s very rare before evil can befall a godly home.
As a man, you may see a woman you love, but you don’t know the kind of Spirit that lives in her. Abigail was a beautiful and intelligent woman in her own right, but she wasn’t the best woman for the King. When she approached David to appease him on behalf of her husband, she said in the Book of I Samuel 25:25-26, “Please do not let my lord pay attention to this worthless man, Nabal, for as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name and folly is with him; but I your maidservant did not see the young men of my lord whom you sent. Now therefore, my lord, as the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, since the Lord has restrained you from shedding blood, and from avenging yourself by your own hand, now then let your enemies and those who seek evil against my lord, be as Nabal.” For a woman to speak in such manner concerning her husband, this should tell you the spiritual state of that man. And David as an anointed King waiting to mount the throne of Israel, she wasn’t the right woman for him.
Those among you who’re single should draw wisdom from this. You only know today and don’t know what tomorrow might bring. If the Father places a great assignment before you, you need a godly partner to go with you. And you mustn’t choose by sight. You must allow the Father to lead you else Satan will take advantage of your ignorance. I pray for you today that Jehovah God Himself will guide your footstep and lead you throughout the journey of your life in Jesus' name. Amen! May the Lord give you the grace to walk with Him in Jesus' name.
