My Emphasis

Jehovah God, merciful and faithful Father, have mercy upon us, Your children, and relent from Your anger. You are the Father of all. I pray Thee, O Lord, sweep us not away in Your wrath. In Your judgement, remember mercy for the sake of the blood of Your Son You shed for us.

Oh, that I could turn back the hand of the clock, to be pure, faithful and blameless, both physically and spiritually. A wrong decision in the life of a man could determine how the rest of his life would be. But in our multitude of mistakes, we found grace and mercy through the cross where Jesus died for us.

We live in a world where everybody counts everything as normal. Nothing is abnormal or abominable anymore. But the truth of the matter is this: Moses was given the Law by the Father, Jesus Christ came as a fulfilment of the Law. Can we all see clearly that nothing has changed? I have said it time and time again: the only difference between the Old and New Testaments is Jesus Christ. And what makes Jesus Christ more important is the blood He shed for us. This blood is more important to the Father because through it, He redeemed all His children. This is the only difference between the two.

The Father made a Covenant with Abraham that through him, nations would be born, not nations of sin, but nations of holiness and righteousness. Today, this Covenant is alive. Though a nation may not believe in the Father and His Son in totality, but every household that believes in the Father and His Son is a nation because a nation starts from a man and a woman.

Followers of Jesus Christ, partakers of His suffering, we're wiser today in everything than our fathers. But this wisdom and knowledge shouldn't take away eternity from us; instead, it should help us become better travellers who know the correct route to our destination. This wisdom and knowledge should help us shape the lives of the coming generation for good, so that everything that plagues us today because of our past sins will not be seen in our children and their generation, through the grace given to us by the Father through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Let us continually ask for mercy because sin has no remedy, and the spiritual side of sin becomes an everlasting stigma that will only be erased when one crosses this Earth to eternity. But in saying this, grace is given to us through which we found hope in Christ Jesus. This grace that was given to us shouldn't be used as a license to commit more sin; instead, it should open our eyes and help us know deep spiritual things that will aid our journey to eternity. May this grace, through our Lord and Saviour, abide with us forevermore. Amen!
