Word from the Father
A leaf is green if there is life in it. A leaf has no life without being supported by a branch. A branch has no life without a trunk. The trunk has no life without the root. If the root loses connection with the source of life, it’s only a matter of time; the leaves will die and wither, the branches will dry up and fall away from the trunk, and the trunk will dry up and fall to the ground. The tree and every life attached to it will all die. I Am the Almighty God. I Am the Source of Life.
It’s dangerous for a man to abandon Me and go his own way. Though he’s alive, not yet dead, he has no life because He left Me to live on his own. I Am the Source of every life. If you maintain the connection between Us, fresh water will flow to you through Me. As a tree has no life without Me, you also have no life without Me. Every other life you live outside Me is a lifeless life.
I created a tree to drink water. If you inject some chemical into the root of that tree, it’s only a matter of time before it dies. This is the kind of life many of you live. The food you eat, the cloth you wear, and your lifestyle kill you slowly. If you maintain the connection between Us, you have no cause for alarm because fresh water will constantly flow to you through Me. Peradventure, you mistakenly eat what you’re not supposed to eat or wrongly do what you’re not supposed to do, because you still maintain the connection between you and Me, you will survive.
Many of you gather together in My name, yet, your Spirit and soul have no life because you’re dead. You’re only living physically; you’re dead spiritually. It’s only when you’re alive spiritually that you’re truly alive. You’re dead because there is no connection between you and Me. Yes, you’re singing in the church; you’re preaching My Word; you’re rendering service unto Me, but when I weigh everything in you, you’re nowhere near My throne. Now judge yourself! What will happen to you if I suddenly come and take you? You will join the league of those who cause traffic at the Gate of Judgement because you want to argue your way to enter Heaven. It doesn’t work like that. If you want to gain free access to Heaven, maintain the connection between Us. If you maintain the relationship between you and Me, you automatically maintain the connection between you and My Son who died for you.
